Today, volunteers from Origin Energy visited our kindy to celebrate National Indigenous Literacy Day (which is on Wednesday). They came ready to read and connect with the Koobara kids.
All the children were invited to choose a book and the volunteers eagerly read their stories!
After reading, they watched our deadly kids do all kinds of tricks in the playground (they seemed keen to show their new friends some of the mad things they can do!) Then we shared a special morning tea with everyone.
We are grateful for opportunities to engage the jarjums in diverse experiences with people and stories.
