In addition to our culturally-responsive kindy/pre-prep program, Koobara also provides a playgroup once a week which proudly supports families as the first teachers of our children. Both the kindy/pre-prep and playgroups are supported by our local bus service to maximise access.
Every fortnight, Koobara welcomes families to our Community Program, where we host activities for children of all ages and a dinner meal cooked by Aunty Ruth.
We also provide an individualised transition support for families of children entering school or our kindy, along with flexible and responsive family support throughout the year.
In 2018, Koobara embarked on our first series of workshops for other early learning services wishing to learn from our ways of knowing and being in this space. Our programs and services are dynamic, and shaped by the needs of our beautiful community.
