For National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day, we had the Children’s Health Queensland (CHQ) team visit and talk to our kindy kids.

This video was the start of Koobara Kindy celebrating our Jarjums, and the Children’s Day theme ‘Little Voices, Loud Futures’.

Continuing the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day 2023 celebrations, we had the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) visit.

The last event for National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day 2023 was our big celebration.

Thank you to the Munimba-ja “Welcome Place”, Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (Nundah Cottages), IUIH, Queensland Thriving Kids Partnership and Metro North HHS’s Strong Start to Life team.

We enjoyed activities and fun with everyone who came along, and a morning tea followed by a cake cutting.
