🧪✨ National Science Week at Koobara! ✨🧪

Our jarjums became Little Scientists today! 👩🏽‍🔬🧒🏽👨🏽‍🔬

Exploring STEAM in real-life and having a blast!

We were so proud to welcome back one of our past Koobara Kindy kids—now a scientist—Aunty Kiri! She came to teach our jarjums all about germs and how important it is to wash our hands properly. 🧼👐

We explored different types of germs like:

🦠 COVID-19

🦠 RSV

🦠 Rhinovirus

🦠 Parainfluenza

🦠 Influenza

Then came the fun part—science experiments!

✨ We used a special cream that acts like germs, placed our hands in a dark box, and watched them glow under a special light. After a good hand wash, we checked again, and the germs had disappeared! We had a deadly day learning about germs.

✨ We also got fizzy with a classic experiment—bicarb and vinegar! Our jarjums watched in awe as the chemical reaction bubbled and fizzed, showing how science can be both exciting and educational. 🧫🌋

To finish off, our jarjums got super creative and made their very own germs out of clay and small parts. The imagination was flowing!
